I think it is included in the curriculum for us not be ignorant of our rights and privileges as an employee in the near future. Another thing is we will able to know what will be our job description is and we will able to know what really our job is and can't to let us do some jobs not stated in our job description.
Also, if we will make systems for HR departments or be hired in an HR Department we will have ideas or knowledge so that we will able to understand more about the flow of the department.

yep, I agree with that because having a knowledge about HRM is a great advantage to us in having a job someday.. And for us to be not ignorant, we should understand well our worth us an employee right?
